Entered the wholesale window treatment business in 1987. Opened BostonBlinds in 1996 to provide retail products.
What is your primary product or service?
Retail sales of custom window treatments featuring brand name product lines such as HunterDouglas, Comfortex, Horizons and Lafayette.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Finance and accounting background brought me into the wholesale side of this business. After experiencing retail side of business I decided to open BostonBlinds - enjoy working with people.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I treat people like I want to be treated - I always offer the best product at the best price for the needed treatment.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently 3 locations. Newton Upper Falls, Pocasset and Southbridge. No current plans to expand.
